Raman fiber laser Raman fiber lasers are wavelength-agile power sources that exploit stimulated Raman scattering to generate high-power output at wavelengths inaccessible to rare-earth-doped fiber lasers. Supercontinuum sources A supercontinuum source is a broadband light source that emits a wide spectrum of wavelengths, generated through nonlinear processes in optical fibers. Photoacoustic Imaging Photoacoustic imaging combines optical excitation with ultrasonic detection to provide high-resolution images of optical absorption, and my work has focused on developing custom laser modules tailored for photoacoustic microscopy applications. Seminconductor metrology Precise and fast temperature measurement techniques using supercontinuum sources to monitor and control semiconductor device fabrication. CNC machines Optomechanical components fabricated using a 3D-printed CNC machine leverage additive manufacturing and computer-controlled machining for low-cost, customizable, and precise production.
