πŸ‘‹ Hello

I’m Abhigyan

Β πŸŽ“ PhD student at CeNSE, Indian Institute of Science.

πŸ”¦ Laser engineer by day.

🎢 Bedroom musician and

🎨 Artist by night.

πŸ”¬ What I Do

πŸŽ“ I’m a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), IISc, where I focus on the [design] and [development] βš™οΈ of advanced high-power fiber lasers πŸ”¦ for cutting-edge applications in biomedical imaging πŸ”¬ and silicon microfabrication πŸ’».

πŸ› οΈ I have developed:

  • A broadly tunable pulsed Raman laser, enabling photoacoustic imaging in both the visible and near-infrared window.
  • A non-contact, high-accuracy temperature sensing system for semiconductor microfabrication using a spectrally shaped supercontinuum source.

πŸ’‘πŸ“° Featured in the “Spotlight on Optics” by the Optica Publishing Group.

πŸ“š Teaching & Outreach

I teach interdisciplinary courses to both undergraduate and master’s students:

πŸ–₯οΈπŸ”¦ Computational Photonics

πŸ“Š Biostatistics & Data Analysis

🧠 Differential Equations

🧬 Light and Biomolecules

🎀 I engage in science outreach through IISc Open Day, deliver interactive lectures in schools, and support education access via the Notebook Drive Initiative.

🎨 Creative Corner

🎸 I produce and play my own music.

✏️ I sketch hyperrealistic portraits.

πŸ–ŠοΈ I write blogs and short stories.
