Demonstration of High-Power Fiber Laser at Nano-Electronics Roadshow & COSEIn 2025

As part of the Technology Showcase at the Nano-Electronics Roadshow & COSEIn 2025, held at IISc Bengaluru, we demonstrated our high-power fiber laser modules to a diverse audience of industry leaders, government officials, and academic researchers. The event, organized in collaboration with MeitY and premier IITs, aimed to highlight indigenous technologies, with a strong focus on commercialization and ecosystem building.

I had the opportunity to present two posters at SPIE Photonics West 2025, held in San Francisco—one of the world’s premier conferences for optics and photonics research.

Both posters received an overwhelmingly positive response—from senior researchers, industry collaborators, and early-career scientists. The community showed strong interest in the broad tunability, compact and simple laser architecture, and the high application potential in biomedical optics, particularly photoacoustic imaging.

Exciting conversations and valuable feedback made this an incredibly rewarding experience. Grateful for the platform and the recognition!

Two talks in SPIE Photonics West, 2024

At SPIE Photonics West 2024 in San Francisco, I had the privilege of delivering two contributed talks, presenting our recent innovations in laser development and sensing technologies:

🎯 “Multi-point Thermal Monitoring of Silicon Wafer Under Processing Utilizing a Spectrally Shaped Supercontinuum Source”
This talk highlighted a non-contact, multi-point thermal sensing technique using a tailored supercontinuum source. The method enables real-time temperature profiling of silicon wafers with high accuracy and a large measurement range.

🎯 “Widely Tunable Visible Pulsed Cascaded Raman Fiber Laser Source”
Here, I presented a compact fiber-based laser platform delivering tunable nanosecond pulses in the visible spectrum. The laser is designed with biomedical imaging applications in mind.
